The LaPorte girls golf team split a pair of matches tonight against Lake Central and Merrillville. Final scores were: Lake Central 179, LaPorte 204, Merrillville 284. Scoring for the Slicers were; Dana McQuarters 50, Anna Menne 51, Lily Spain 52 and Lilly Kirk 52. Top honors went to Allie Huppenthal from Lake Central with a 2 over par...40. LaPortes JV team lost to Lake Central on the 5th score tie breaker. Final scores were: LaPorte 218, Lake Central 218. Scoring for the Slicers were: Ava Hedricks 49, Brooke Buchanan 54, Molly Riley 57 and Regan Wireman 57. It was nice to be able to celebrate with our seniors Claire Leniski and Dana McQuarters after the match.
